Marketing and Media Opportunities in Social Networking and Online Communities

New York—June 21, 2005—David Teten, CEO, Nitron Advisors, participated in the IRTS Foundation’s panel on June 20 to speak on “Marketing and Media Opportunities in Social Networking and Online Communities.”

The panel discussed the role of social networks and online communities in marketing and other media opportunities. Mr. Teten gave an overview of the software industry structure and spoke about open source marketing. He also noted that the social software facilitates the organization to create advertisements and marketing materials.
